Bridgeport’s Planning Commission invites you to take part in shaping the future of our community!

Drop-In Session: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Residents are invited to stop by during this time to review the City’s draft Comprehensive Plan and speak directly with consultants.
Public Hearing: 4:00 PM
Share your comments and be part of the discussion as the Planning Commission reviews the draft plan for adoption later this year.

Street Milling & Paving starts Monday, September 22, 2025
Contractors will begin work on the following streets (in this order):
A portion of Sherwood Road, Sherwood Circle, Gateway Drive, Philadelphia Avenue from Virginia Avenue intersection to Worthington Avenue intersection, Olive Street & Willis Avenue Intersection, First Street alley, lower Fourth Street, Geneva Street, and Newton Avenue.
Expect lane shifts, flaggers, and brief delays. Please avoid on-street parking in work zones during daytime hours. Work is weather-dependent. Thanks for your patience as we improve our streets!
